Ett avvaktande Frölunda förlorade

Linköping vann den andra matchen i kvartsfinalserien med 6 – 2, men den stora snackisen efter matchen handlade inte om resultatet utan om Norrenas totala hjärnsläpp i slutet av tredje perioden.

Frölunda förlorade mot Linköping idag. Det var inget snack om vilka som skulle vinna egentligen. LHC var hungrigare från start och under stora delar av matchen var Indianerna mycket avvaktande. Hade man stått upp mer och höjt sig ett par snäpp så kanske det hade varit en helt annan match. Det kändes som om flera av gubbarna var rädda för att förlora idag.

Frölunda var ändå det lag som tog ledningen och det gjorde man i boxplay. Det var Freddan som blev frispelad och han drog målvakten snyggt och la in pucken mellan benen. Freddan gjorde också det andra målet och denna gången i powerplay, men då var matchen redan körd.

Att siffrorna blev så stora spelar ingen roll nu. Indianerna chansade lite i tredje vilket ledde till att hemmalaget enkelt kunde få in några puckar bakom Honken.

Honken blev utbytt i tredje och ersatt av Gusten. Detta var säkert bara taktik från Uffes sida och hade inget med resultatet att göra. Honken var inte glad i alla fall, det kan jag lova.

Frölunda hade inte heller flytet med sig idag. Puckarna studsade inte Indianernas väg men det gjorde den för LHC. Två av hemmalagets mål föregås av att pucken studsar deras väg. Men så är det i hockey, ibland har man tur och ibland inte. Synd bara att hela säsongen har varit sådan för Frölundas del.

För Norrenas del förväntar jag mig en lång avstängning. Han ska inte vara på isen mer under denna säsongen anser jag. Detta är något som absolut inte hör hemma i svensk ishockey.
