Really want one of these, loving the pattern. Available at asos.
Thanks K-loop!
I just got some great news! This little dime is on its way to Sweden. I won it in a contest where you were supposed to tell about your best ”That’s NOT it”-moment. Read it and all of the other funny stories here (prepare to lol). So happy, this is my first ever Married To The Mob shirt and it’s just all mine. Gosh. ♥

Shoes of the day.
Those black shoes ahhhh. ♥♥
I love their suttle sexy approach, and how the cutouts remind me of spread butterfly wings.
How the heel is slightly curved inwards. They are so so beautiful.
Today.

(Jacket – Hellz Bellz, Jeans – Don’t remember, Shoes – Bianco footwear.)
A day full of fun with fellow cancerians. Met up with Joakim and took our measurements. Then met up with Desiré and had a wonderful stroll about in the woods, and fed duckies with bread and acted like total four-year olds. Also: Halloween soon! Are you excited? I sure am.
Pretty Patti.
”Being any gender is a drag”
Blurring the lines between men’s and women’s fashion. Loose clothes, layers, messy hair, combat boots, tight pants, mixed lengths. There’s something about googling a person and seeing all of their pictures appear in black and white, that just makes you feel good. It’s making me wish all of my pictures were black and white. Anyhow, Patti is style per definition. I adore her. (You should too).
Inspiration Explosion.
Today I was going out for a quick jog. But it turned into a three hour walk. I keep getting distracted by the pretty things around me. A bright red leaf on the ever so grey ground. An old seagull with faded colours reminds me of old Cheap Monday collections… Architechtural colorblocking. Every triangular pole makes me think of upside down heels. Every curve of a road makes me think of the arch of a Kirkwood shoe.
I remember a designer saying he was a terrible driver. A terrible driver, because everything around him frequently fascinated him. That he could see an old ticket right next to the gas pedal, and his eyes would freeze there for a moment, his brain would fill with ideas for upcoming collections.
I feel like I had one of those moments today. Like everything around me was related to shoes and all I could think of was how I could transform my surroundings into an aesthetically prominent design. My environment turned into contrasts and patterns, suedes and leathers, hards and softs. I thought about how two opposites can work together and successfully blend into one another. How something can fall apart and still be beautiful. How rocks are unique but still inseperable. About how the water and waves surround them playfully. I thought about mixing suttle abstract details with bold textures. I thought about how something can emerge out of nothing. About nothing and how nothing can turn itself inside out and therefore exist. I thought about highs and lows, shades and brights, shapes and silhouettes, curves and carve-outs, materials matches and misses. About how all of the things that really are the most astounding and would translate itself best on all of us, are always all around us.
To many people out there these will only seem like poorly taken images of a beach and some sand.
And maybe that’s exactly what they are if you don’t have any imagination.
DO YOU GET IT?
I need to make shoes. Someday.
Also, I took these photos with the camera on my cellphone so if the quality isn’t quite up to standard then I’m sorry. ♥
Also: does anyone ever have these moments? Tell me about them!
Christian Siriano x Payless 2011.
Maybe you remember these fierce shoe boots that I worked my butt off to have but never received, anyhow they’re from last year’s Christian Siriano and Payless collaboration. Now I had no idea that he was doing a collaboration with Payless this year too – but I checked their website and he is! I really hope they don’t downsize his creations to appeal to a bigger audience. Especially since I am all about the crazyness when it comes to shoes. So therefore I now pray to the lords that they PLEASE JUST PLEASE manifacture and sell the black and bronze shoe so mama can buy it and be soothed for life.
Two new collaborations.
I’m keeping shush about them for now, though. Because it is a little bit too exciting to tell.
I’ll give you one huge clue on one of them though, because I’m not that mean! Click here.
