I’m a 90’s baby. 00:38:15

The airbrushed t-shirt is my absolute favorite thing about this picture. I mean, it’s good enough that it says don’t fuck with the underground and that it’s worn by Tupac himself. The slightly tilted snapback that matches the shirt a little but not so much that it looks planned (good one, Tupac). But the airbrushed t-shirts oh my, I miss those.
And then you have Queen Latifah beside him, in a Naughty by Nature tshirt that’s a little loose, with a denim overall with one strap unclasped.  The chill tomboyish look, with modest makeup.
Let’s not forget the gold hoops  and the bling on every finger that exists.

I’m gonna cop me one of those airbrushed tee’s somehow.

Give me back the 90s. Like right now.

Chanel x Lilogi. 21:30:14

I got a question today, what does Chanel mean to me personally?

It’s a hard question to answer for me, in the sense that Chanel is so many things. Undeniably, being one of the largest brands in the history of fashion – Chanel has a lot of bunnies you can pull out the hat. To me, the brand is the epitome of french sophisticated sexyness. Classy, and clean. Bossy, but soft. Stern, yet moody. From hats and tweed to little black dresses and no. 5’s… there’s many great things worth mentioning when talking about Chanel.

The thing that I think pulls me in the most about Chanel though (aside from listening to Karl Lagerfeld talking french) is the haute couture.  The anticipation, the stress, the doubts, the collection. Seeing the seamstresses that work at Chanel, how intricate their detailing and sowing is, and how much they all work to get the pieces ready for the shows. And the shows, oh the shows! Chanel’s couture runways are never short of astonishing. The makeup, the hair, the models, the finished pieces.

Lilogi is an online fashion gallery, which is set to launch 12.12.11, but up until then you can get little previews of anything Chanel-related. You see, Lilogi is featuring exclusive Chanel content for the launch of their website – which is something that hardly ever happens. That means you have to have a look at their site, especially if you’re a big fan of the brand! I’m not going to let you in on any secrets – but I just unlocked ”Monday” myself. Definitely a website that will expand quick.

Here are some pictures inspired by Chanel which me and Eleanor took,
I have already posted them in my blog a while ago but thought you might want to see them again.

Who’s watching the Watchmen? 00:19:23

Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout ”Save us!”… and I’ll whisper ”no.”

Top 50 streetwear brands of all time. 10:58:36

Bobby Hundreds from the Hundreds makes a list for Complex mag on the top 50 streetwear brands through all time, quite interesting I must say. It’s weird though how he didn’t add sneaker brands to the mix, maybe that would make an infinite list ha. Two of my all time favorite girl brands made the list, Hellz Bellz and Married To The Mob so congratulations ladies. Well deserved! (Click the picture above to read and have a look at Bobbyhundred’s list)

No wonder if the boy in your dreams is Cole Mohr.
