I got a question today, what does Chanel mean to me personally?
It’s a hard question to answer for me, in the sense that Chanel is so many things. Undeniably, being one of the largest brands in the history of fashion – Chanel has a lot of bunnies you can pull out the hat. To me, the brand is the epitome of french sophisticated sexyness. Classy, and clean. Bossy, but soft. Stern, yet moody. From hats and tweed to little black dresses and no. 5’s… there’s many great things worth mentioning when talking about Chanel.
The thing that I think pulls me in the most about Chanel though (aside from listening to Karl Lagerfeld talking french) is the haute couture. The anticipation, the stress, the doubts, the collection. Seeing the seamstresses that work at Chanel, how intricate their detailing and sowing is, and how much they all work to get the pieces ready for the shows. And the shows, oh the shows! Chanel’s couture runways are never short of astonishing. The makeup, the hair, the models, the finished pieces.

Lilogi is an online fashion gallery, which is set to launch 12.12.11, but up until then you can get little previews of anything Chanel-related. You see, Lilogi is featuring exclusive Chanel content for the launch of their website – which is something that hardly ever happens. That means you have to have a look at their site, especially if you’re a big fan of the brand! I’m not going to let you in on any secrets – but I just unlocked ”Monday” myself. Definitely a website that will expand quick.

Here are some pictures inspired by Chanel which me and Eleanor took,
I have already posted them in my blog a while ago but thought you might want to see them again.
